A Day at Centennial Lakes Park
Have you ever heard the saying, “How we choose to deal with things says a lot about us?”
I personally prefer to spend time alone, in a relaxing environment when I am “going through it.”
To me, Centennial Lakes Park located in Edina, Minnesota quickly became one of my favorite spots to visit. Whether I am “going through it” or just want to have a nice day outside, it is a wonderful way to recharge.
Besides enjoying concerts and traveling, my next de-stressor has always been adventuring.
Since I financially can’t fly whenever I want, I had to think smaller… where can I sight-see nearby?
As I started looking into free attractions nearby, I found a beautiful park on Google that wasn’t too far from me.
It was a perfect day to walk around and explore.
1.5 miles of a paved pathway perfect for walks and jogging.
I walked along the paved pathway and loved what they did with the landscape: the bridges, the stream of water from the manmade pond.
You can hear the birds chirping and the rustling of the leaves, with lots of shaded areas if you want to stay cool.
My favorite spot at the park - the swinging benches right in front of the fountain. Post on Lemon8.
I was happy to see beautiful picnic and lunch spots where you can watch the sunset.
Quiet enough for peace, wide enough for space.
Golf course alongside the path with other activities such as lawn bowling.
The last time I visited, my sister and I ended our visit watching the sunset and swinging on the benches with our Boba drinks from the Asia Mall.
As we were walking back, we came across cute little ducks swimming near the fountain area.
I could see that it was bringing so much joy to people walking by, and to us as well.
Sometimes, all we need is a day to reset.
Nature and spending time outside seems to really do the trick for many people.
So feed some ducks, take a nice walk, grab some Boba, and sit on a swinging bench at Centennial Lakes Park.

It was so exciting to get all dressed up to see Beyoncé perform her new songs at the Renaissance Tour in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
When I dress up for concerts, I aim to go for the album’s theme for inspiration.

From the album cover, we get shiny, silver, glittery, black - power.
Therefore, I wanted to create a look using those same colors with glitter:
This was the process from beginning to end of how I styled the outfit.
I wanted to go for “ALIEN SUPERSTAR” which is one of my favorite songs on the album.
I received LOTS of compliments, it had to be my favorite concert outfit I have put together thus far.

Rainy days at the café!
Sometimes, all we need are days just to relax.
For me, the weather decides my mood and how active I am going to be.
On days like this, I have a few ideas in mind:
Café visits
Listening to soft music
Getting a warm drink
So why not do it all, at a café?
I decided to visit Beans Coffee Bar located in West Fargo, North Dakota.
Its large windows are perfect for absorbing sunlight or watching the rainfall on days like this:
Being in a space that brings calmness and relaxation on rainy days brings peace.
The next time it rains, I encourage you to find a café you haven’t tried before!
Or go to your favorite one and try a flavor or snack you haven’t tried before.
It keeps your rainy days a bit more exciting!

I saw the move on July 28 at the Fargo Theatre downtown. It was a fun experience getting to dress up in ALL pink with my friends, take a ton of photos, get fancy drinks, and turn the whole night into an entire event. I loved how people from all over went all out for this movie!
Growing up playing with Barbie, I wanted to pay homage to the iconic doll with my outfit. I’d seen what Barbie’s fit throughout the movie was - a pink two-piece outfit with a cowboy hat, a scarf, and boots.
I decided to use that outfit as inspiration and add my own little spin to make it a little more personalized. Here is what I wore:

I enjoyed every bit of piecing the outfit together, it brings me so much joy to go all out for events. This film brought together so many people to dress up and celebrate women and our youth. To make a movie a pink experience is something so special, and I am happy I got to be a Barbie for a day with my friends
